## Transcript

What if I told you there's a Pokémon that woke up three hundred million years later, flew straight home, and found out home was a skyline now.

Genesect is old in a way that almost nothing else in the games is. 

Team Plasma dug it out of a fossil, brought it back, altered it, and bolted a cannon to its back. It didn't ask for the cannon. It didn't ask to be back. It just opened its eyes in a lab with a weapon on its spine and a world outside the window that had moved on without it by three hundred million years.

And in the movie, five of them wake up together, and the first thing they do is the thing anybody would do. They go home. They fly to the mountains they remember, and the mountains are still there, covered in snow, and nothing about them can hold a living thing anymore. The place is right. The time is wrong by an amount you can't picture. So they turn, and on the horizon they see a city, all lights and towers, and they decide that must be it. That must be home. It's the only thing out there big enough to be.

They take over a park in the middle of that city. They drive out everything living there and start building a nest, and here's the part of the movie nobody talks about. In that park, there's a patch of a flower called the Panna Lotus. It grew in their world, three hundred million years ago. And somehow, a few of them still grow here. And the Genesect build their entire nest around those flowers. The whole thing. 

Three hundred million years from home, they found one thing they recognized, and built everything around it.
