What if I told you there's a Pokémon that's actually two different creatures living inside the same apple, and they only make it because they have each other?

This is Dipplin. 

It's what Applin becomes with a special syrupy apple that only grows in one place. The Pokédex says Dipplin is two creatures in one Pokémon. 

The head sticking out the front belongs to one of them, and the tail sticking out the back belongs to the other. They share one apple, and they help each other out.

Think about what that means. 

Two completely different creatures, growing up in the same small home, and the only one who knows exactly what it was like in there is the other one who was stuck in there too. They even coat that apple in layers of their own syrup, together.

Some of you have a Dipplin. 

The sibling who grew up in the same house as you, or the cousin who spent every summer there. You can go months without talking, and then one look across the room at a family party and you both know exactly what the other one is thinking. 

Nobody else was in that apple... nobody else gets it like they do.
