## Transcript

What if I told you the light you're warned not to go near in the forest belongs to a Pokémon that gives its energy away when a friend is fading.

This is Shiinotic, a mushroom about three feet tall that walks through dark forests at night, glowing.
Its Pokédex gives you one straight giant warning.

If you see a light deep in a forest at night, do not, I repeat, do not go near it.

Its flickering spores pull you in and put you to sleep, and once you're out, it drains your energy through its fingertips. And yes, you heard that right... this mushroom has fingertips.

People who get turned around by its lights can't find their way home again.

There's one more entry, and it's about what Shiinotic does when one of its own starts to fade.

If another Shiinotic gets weak, it reaches out with those same fingertips and sends it energy.

And somewhere deep in a forest tonight, one of those little lights is getting dim, and another one comes over and gives it what it has.

Maybe you know somebody like that, the one other people are a little scared of. And when you were running on empty, they gave you whatever they had left.

The same fingertips that take from strangers give to its own.

So who gave you what they had left when you were running on empty?

## Pokédex entry

Forests where Shiinotic live are treacherous to enter at night. People confused by its strange lights can never find their way home again.
