## Transcript

What if I told you nobody knows where this Pokémon comes from, and everywhere it lands, people take it as good news.

This is Hoppip, a little pink puff with leaves sprouting out of its head.

It weighs about a pound. It's so light that even the gentlest breeze can carry it off, sometimes all the way to the next town. Imagine sneezing and landing in a different zip code.

It doesn't get much say in where it goes.

And its Pokédex says it enjoys a gentle breeze anyway, even though that's the one thing that could carry it off for good.

Over the years, the breeze carried it just about everywhere. Outside of the coldest places, you can find Hoppip practically anywhere in the world.

In Paldea, the Pokédex flat out admits nobody knows where their Hoppip originally came from.
And people have an old saying about it.

When Hoppip start gathering in the fields and mountains, spring is on the way.
Maybe you grew up moving around, and you still pause when somebody asks where you're from. Maybe there are a few places out there that got a little warmer the year you showed up.

Nobody knows where it's from, and everywhere it lands, people know spring is coming.

So how many places have you called home? Drop the number in the comments!
