## Transcript

What if I told you this Pokémon got the internet to fall in love with it by doing nothing but eating snow?

Meet Snom. It's a tiny white bug with big round eyes, and eating snow is pretty much its whole life.

Its Pokédex says it likes fresh snow best, so it'll eat its way up an entire mountain, aiming for the very top. The more snow it eats, the bigger the icy spikes on its back grow.

And when it's time to sleep, it ties itself to a branch with frosty thread and pretends to be an icicle. Which, in November, sounds like a pretty solid plan.

Back in 2019, before its game even came out, people loved it so much that they built a whole online community just for Snom.
It hadn't done anything. It was just a little bug eating snow.

But Snom can't grow up on its own. It only evolves if it truly loves its trainer, and only at night.

When it does, it becomes a giant, beautiful moth with icy wings. Its scales drift down from the sky and fall like snow.
So the little one everyone loved for eating snow grows up to be the one that makes it fall.

Maybe you've felt like you had to do something big to be worth loving. Maybe the right people loved you back when all you were doing was eating your snow.

Snom got loved for doing nothing special at all, and that love is exactly what turns it into something that fills the sky with snow.

## Pokédex entry

It spits out thread imbued with a frigid sort of energy and uses it to tie its body to branches, disguising itself as an icicle while it sleeps.
