Pokopia's areas.
The story areas sit on the ruins of classic Kanto cities. You start in Withered Wasteland. Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges open next, then Sparkling Skylands. Palette Town is an optional sandbox. The Bubbly Basin expansion adds an underwater town. Click any area for the full breakdown.
Withered Wasteland
Where you begin. Once Fuchsia City, now dried out after the weather anomalies that drove humanity into space. You meet Professor Tangrowth, get your Pokédex, and rebuild the first Pokémon Center. The 'Yawn Up a Storm!' quest (make it rain) opens up both Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges.
Bleak Beach
A perpetually dark seaside town on the ruins of Vermilion City. Restore its light and electricity, wake Mosslax, and Surf out to the wrecked S.S. Anne.
Rocky Ridges
The volcanic highlands around the ruins of Pewter City, scarred by an eruption. Restore the Pewter Museum and rebuild the ash-covered ridges, then throw a party that eventually draws out Volcanion.
Sparkling Skylands
Floating islands that were once Saffron City, blasted into the sky. Rebuild the old Silph Co. tower (the "Huge Building") floor by floor with Glide and Waterfall. Mewtwo appears on the finished roof (you befriend it later on a Dream Island).
Palette Town
An optional, story-free sandbox: a trio of vacant islands you can rename and build on as you wish, with no story gates. Home of the Eevee line, and its three islands hold the kits for Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
