Good Sleep Day #35
May 16, 20261.5x–3x Drowsy Power + Sleep EXP, +500-1000 Sleep Points. Recurs monthly around the full moon.
Spinoff · sleep tracker · iOS / Android · 2023 launch
The franchise's strangest experiment. Your phone (or a Pokémon GO Plus +) measures how you sleep using the microphone and accelerometer, then catalogs which Pokémon gather around your bedside Snorlax. Most players use it as a sleep tracker that happens to be cute. Some use it as the cute thing that happens to track sleep.
Put your phone face-down on the mattress (or wear a Pokémon GO Plus +). The microphone listens for breathing and movement; the accelerometer tracks how still you are. Your sleep gets categorized as Dozing, Snoozing, or Slumbering. While you sleep, Pokémon gather around a giant Snorlax on a research island.
In the morning you record their sleep styles into a Sleep Style Dex and feed them PokéBiscuits to build friendship. Pokémon you've befriended help during the day. They collect berries and ingredients, which grow Snorlax's Drowsy Power, which attracts higher-tier Pokémon the next night.
Filterable by sleep type (Dozing / Snoozing / Slumbering) and pose slot. Tap any style to land on the species page.

The central mascot. Every island has a Snorlax variant that grows as you sleep.

Sleep Style 1 of 3. Classic appearance, multiple sleep poses unlocked over time.

Starter line is in. Sleep Style 1.

Cubone's sleep is famously sad. Sleep Style 1.

Ditto holds the record at 10 unique sleep styles, more than any other species.
Pokémon Sleep has a monthly Good Sleep Day cadence (around the full moon) plus rotating themed weeks. Latest from the official news feed.
1.5x–3x Drowsy Power + Sleep EXP, +500-1000 Sleep Points. Recurs monthly around the full moon.
New debut: Drampa. Bonus encounter rate for Dragon-type Pokémon during the week.
Latias re-encounter. Limited-time research storyline.
Quality-of-life updates and new sleep styles. See official patch notes.
The Pokémon GO Plus + device (sold separately, around $54.99) pairs with both Pokémon GO and Pokémon Sleep over Bluetooth. Press the button at night, set it on your nightstand or wear it on your wrist; it plays a Jigglypuff lullaby and tracks your sleep via its own accelerometer so you don't have to keep your phone on the mattress. Same hardware doubles as a one-tap Poké Ball thrower for Pokémon GO during the day.
No Apple Watch, Wear OS, or Fitbit integration as of version 3.5.0. The phone microphone alone works fine for casual use.
