Common questions.
What is a Sleep Style?
In Pokémon Sleep, every species takes on different sleeping poses depending on how it shares your Snorlax's drowsy energy. Each Pokémon has 3-4 distinct Sleep Styles (poses) that you collect by sleeping near Snorlax with enough drowsy power. There are 856 Sleep Styles in the game across 214 species.
What are the three sleep types?
Dozing (light sleep, awake-leaning poses), Snoozing (medium sleep, balanced poses), and Slumbering (deep sleep, fully-relaxed poses). Each species belongs to exactly one sleep type; that's a fixed property of the species, not the style. Bulbasaur is Dozing; Pikachu is Snoozing; Squirtle is Slumbering.
How many Sleep Styles per Pokémon?
Most species have 3 to 4 styles. A handful have only 2 (Halloween / Holiday event variants of Pikachu and Eevee). Ditto has 10 (an in-game joke; it transforms into other sleepers).
What are the islands / research areas?
Eight in total (seven unique + one expert mode): Greengrass Isle (start), Cyan Beach (20 styles), Taupe Hollow (70), Snowdrop Tundra (150), Lapis Lakeside (240), Old Gold Power Plant (340), Amber Canyon (450), Greengrass Isle Expert (Master 18). Each island has its own roster of Pokémon you can encounter sleeping there.
