We’ve been running Daily Pokemon as a content site for a while now: one Pokémon every day at 9am ET, a full Pokédex, an anime episode database, type matchups, evolution guides, all of it cross-linked and structured for both human readers and AI citations.

What we haven’t done — until now — is write.

This section changes that. Editorial articles live on the news feed alongside the headlines we aggregate from other publishers, but they’re ours. Opinions, analyses, deep dives, reactions to Pokémon Presents drops, takes on TCG market movements, hot takes on competitive metas, whatever the moment calls for.

How to spot us in the feed

Editorial pieces get a small accent border and an Editorial badge instead of a publisher hostname. If you see a colored stripe on the left side of a news card, that’s us. Click through and you’ll land on the full article on this site, not a hop out to someone else’s.

Why this matters

The Pokémon content web is huge but it’s mostly news aggregation and stat lookups. We want Daily Pokemon to also be a place where someone thinks about Pokémon — its design, its competitive scene, its cultural footprint, its history.

That’s what this section is for.

Stay tuned.
