What is a moon sign Pokémon?

Your moon sign is the zodiac sign the Moon was in when you were born; it governs your inner emotional world. PocketScopes maps each sign to one spirit Pokémon, so your moon sign Pokémon is the creature that matches how you actually feel underneath.

What is a rising sign Pokémon?

Your rising sign (or Ascendant) is the sign that was climbing the eastern horizon at the moment of your birth; it is the mask you show the world. Your rising sign Pokémon is the spirit that matches that first impression. It needs your exact birth time and place to calculate.

Your Pokémon Big Three

Your Sun is who you are, your Moon is how you feel, your Rising is how you show up. Each one is a spirit Pokémon. Enter your birth date for your Sun and Moon; add your time and city for your Rising.

Your moon sign Pokémon and rising sign Pokémon, explained

Astrology is not just your sun sign. Your moon sign is the sign the Moon occupied at your birth, the private, emotional you. Your rising sign, or Ascendant, is the sign that was climbing the eastern horizon the minute you were born, the version of you the world meets first. Together with your Sun, they are your "Big Three," the backbone of a birth chart.

PocketScopes gives each of the twelve signs one permanent spirit Pokémon, grounded in real Pokémon canon. So your Big Three is three Pokémon: one for your core, one for your heart, one for your first impression. The Sun and Moon need only your birth date. The Rising sign needs your exact birth time and city, because the horizon shifts about one degree every four minutes.
