Alolan Geodude.
The Alolan form of Geodude. Magnetism turned its body into a lodestone; iron sand clings to it like hair, and it can discharge electricity.

0:00What if I told you there's a Pokémon whose entire body changed because of where it grew up?
0:03That's Alolan Geodude.
0:07Same species as the regular Geodude from Kanto.
0:10Same shape, same family.
0:14But this one grew up in Alola, on the black sand beaches and the volcanic stone of Ula'ula Island.
0:17And the place got into it.
0:21Its body is magnetic now.
0:24Not because anyone designed it that way.
0:28Just because the rock it formed in had iron in it, and the beaches it lay on had iron in them, and after enough time, the iron stopped being something Alolan Geodude was around and started being something Alolan Geodude was made of.
0:31The black sand on its face that looks like eyebrows and hair?
0:35That's iron filings, still clinging, because the body underneath keeps pulling them in.
0:38That's a regular day for Alolan Geodude.
0:42It pulls in what's around it.
0:45It can't really turn the magnetism off.
0:49It's also a different type than the Kanto version.
0:52Rock and Electric instead of Rock and Ground.
0:56Step on this one and you don't just get a punch.
0:59You get a jolt.
1:03The defenses got louder.
1:06Some of you grew up exactly like this.
1:10Where you came from changed what you're made of.
1:13Not because you chose any of it.
1:17The place you couldn't leave got into your body and into your defenses and into the way you crackle when someone walks too close to you now.
1:20You pulled in things from the ground beneath you because the magnetism didn't have an off switch.
1:24And some of the people you grew up next to had stronger magnetism than you did.
1:27They walked away with parts of you stuck to them.
1:31That magnetism is yours now.
1:34Whatever's left, whatever you pulled in from a beach that doesn't exist anywhere else, is the texture of someone who couldn't have been formed by any other place.
1:38Nobody else got built the way you did.
1:41If you grew up somewhere that made you electric, comment below.
1:45Then send this to the friend who knows exactly which beach you came from.
Defense 100, Speed 20. Pick your poison.
Alolan Geodude's base stat total is 300. The shape of a stat spread tells you everything about a Pokémon's role. Tanks lean defense, sweepers lean speed and attack.
