The free Pokémon API and MCP server.
Every Pokémon, every form, every type matchup, served as clean JSON from the Cloudflare edge. No key, all origins. Each record carries the same entity-graph links our pages emit, so the data resolves to the exact Pokémon other reference sites already know. There is also a Model Context Protocol server, so an LLM agent can call pokedaily.net as a tool.
Fetch any Pokémon as JSON.
One request, one self-contained record. Slugs and dex numbers both resolve.
curl https://pokedaily.net/api/pokemon/garchomp.json Let your agent call us as a tool.
https://pokedaily.net/api/mcp is a stateless Model Context Protocol server (JSON-RPC 2.0
over Streamable HTTP, no auth). Point any MCP client at the URL. To add it to Claude or another MCP
client, use a config like this:
{
"mcpServers": {
"pokedaily": {
"url": "https://pokedaily.net/api/mcp"
}
}
} Tools

The data is verifiable.
Each Pokémon record includes a wikidata QID and a sameAs array linking to
the same Pokémon on other reference sites, including the official Pokédex. That is the
disambiguation move that lets a knowledge graph or an LLM confirm our Garchomp is the same Garchomp
everyone else means, and trust the number we report next to it. The GO figures come from the same validated
CP math our calculators use.
Free to use.
