How it actually plays

Three lanes. Ten minutes. One scoring resource.

UNITE compresses the standard MOBA formula into ten-minute matches. Five Pokémon per side split across top lane, jungle, and bottom lane. There are no items to last-hit, no minion waves to push. Instead you collect Aeos Energy by knocking out wild Pokémon and enemy players, then deposit it in enemy goal zones. First team to outscore the other when time expires wins. The final two minutes double all points, which is when matches usually flip.

Each playable Pokémon slots into one of five roles. Attackers handle ranged damage. All-Rounders are durable bruisers. Defenders soak hits and zone enemies off goals. Speedsters jungle and rotate. Supporters heal and lock down. Pick composition matters more than mechanical skill once you're above a certain rank.
