0:00What if I told you the most loyal Pokémon in the world has a kind of loyalty that can actually break your heart?
0:03This is Growlithe, the little orange fire puppy.
0:05You already know it's loyal...
0:08Everyone knows Growlithe is loyal.
0:10But almost nobody knows the true extent of its loyalty.
0:13There's a Pokédex entry that describes Growlithe in one sentence, and once you really hear it, you can't unhear it.
0:15It says Growlithe will remain completely motionless until its trainer gives it an order.
0:18Sit and stay.
0:20And it stays.
0:23Not for a minute.
0:25Not until it gets bored.
0:28It stays.
0:30It waits for the person it loves to come back and tell it what to do next.
0:33Now put that next to the other thing the Pokédex says about Growlithe.
0:35Its sense of smell is so strong that once it smells something, it never forgets that scent.
0:38Not ever.
0:40No matter what.
0:43So here is what that actually means.
0:45A Growlithe will wait exactly where you left it.
0:48And even if you never come back, it will remember your scent for the rest of its life.
0:50It will not move, and it will not forget.
0:53That's the loyalty.
0:55That's the whole thing.
0:57Some of you have loved someone exactly like this.
1:00You stayed where they left you.
1:03You waited for an order that wasn't coming.
1:05And the worst part, the part nobody talks about, is that you couldn't make yourself forget them even when forgetting would have been mercy.
1:08Your loyalty didn't have an off switch.
1:10You stayed, and you remembered, and you called it love because it was.
1:13Growlithe isn't loyal because it's stupid.
1:15It's loyal because that's the most honest thing it knows how to be.
1:18And there is nothing wrong with being the one who stayed.
1:20But you're allowed to be someone's Growlithe and also let yourself move when they're not coming back.
1:23If you've been this loyal to someone, comment below.
1:25Then send this to the person who never made you sit and stay.
1:28The one who stayed next to you instead.
Attack carries the kit at 70.
Growlithe's base stat total is 350. The shape of a stat spread tells you everything about a Pokémon's role. Tanks lean defense, sweepers lean speed and attack.
