Calyrex.

0:00What if I told you there's a Pokémon who used to be a king, and the reason he's so small now is because we forgot him?

0:03That's Calyrex.

0:06He looks delicate.

0:09A slight, soft-bodied thing with a green crown that's bigger than his head.

0:12He didn't always look like this.

0:16Calyrex once ruled Galar as a merciful king.

0:19The lore says he had the power to mend hearts and bring plants back to wastelands.

0:22He moved an entire forest overnight to save the Pokémon living in it from a meteorite strike.

0:25He could see all events from the past to the future.

0:28He healed his opponents' wounds after battles he won.

0:31He used to be one of the most powerful Pokémon in existence.

0:34Then people forgot him.

0:37The Pokédex lore is specific about this.

0:40Calyrex is at full strength when people remember him and when his bonded partner is with him.

0:43He gets weaker after being forgotten and losing his steed.

0:47The diminishment isn't damage, it's absence.

0:50He shrank because we stopped telling his story.

0:53The current version of Calyrex, the small one with the soft eyes, that's the version of a king who hasn't been remembered in a long time.

0:56Some of you used to be much bigger than you are now.

0:59You used to take care of people.

1:02You used to move forests overnight to save the ones you loved.

1:05You used to mend hearts, including your own.

1:08And then somewhere along the way, the people who needed you stopped needing you, and you got smaller.

1:11Not because something broke you.

1:14Because nobody remembered the version of you that was carrying the crown.

1:18Calyrex returns to full power when he's remembered.

1:21You do too.

1:24If you've felt smaller than you used to be, comment below.

1:27Then send this to the person who needs to remember who they were before everyone forgot.
