0:00So what if I told you there's a Pokemon from a dying world that couldn't speak our language, so it learned to paint its feelings instead?
0:03This is Poipole, an Ultra Beast from another dimension.
0:06In its home world, it's popular enough to be chosen as a starter Pokemon.
0:09But its world is dying.
0:12When Necrozma lost its light, everything went dark.
0:15The plants withered.
0:18The Poipole huddled together in the darkness with nothing left.
0:21So one Poipole was sent on a mission.
0:24Find the light, save everyone!
0:27It ended up in Alola.
0:30Met Ash.
0:33Met Pikachu.
0:36And because it couldn't speak, it started drawing.
0:39Spraying colorful ink from its head to make pictures.
0:42An artist named Mina figured out what the drawings meant.
0:45Lightning bolts meant "like, like, love." Teardrops meant sadness.
0:48Poipole drew lightning bolts around Pikachu constantly.
0:51It drew Ash and his entire family on the walls.
0:54It was saying "I love you" the only way it knew how.
0:57But it still had nightmares.
1:00About all the other Poipole back home.
1:03About the dying Naganadel.
1:06About the darkness it left behind.
1:09And when the mission was over, when it was time to go home and help restore the light, Poipole didn't have words for goodbye either.
1:12So it drew Ash and Pikachu's faces on the ground one last time.
1:15And then it left.
1:18An alien that crossed dimensions, found a family, and had to leave them to save the one it came from.
1:21And every single feeling it ever had is still painted somewhere in Alola.
1:24Have you ever loved someone and couldn't find the words to say it?
1:27Tell me in the comments.
Balanced. Every stat within 6 of the rest.
Poipole's base stat total is 420. The shape of a stat spread tells you everything about a Pokémon's role. Tanks lean defense, sweepers lean speed and attack.
