0:00What if I told you the most beautiful voice in the entire sky belongs to a Pokémon that spends most of its life making sure nobody hears it?
0:03This is Altaria.
0:05The dragon with wings like cotton clouds.
0:08And the Pokédex agrees on one thing across every game: its voice is extraordinary.
0:11A gorgeous soprano!
0:14A crystal-clear melody so lovely that anyone who hears it falls into a kind of dream.
0:16So you'd think a Pokémon with a voice like that would want to be heard.
0:19Funny enough, it’s EXACTLY the opposite!
0:22Altaria's wings look like clouds because that is exactly what it uses them for.
0:25It flies up into the sky and blends into the clouds until you cannot tell where the Pokémon ends and the weather begins.
0:27It makes itself disappear into the thing it's made of.
0:30And when it finally does sing, listen to where.
0:33The Pokédex says if you hear a beautiful melody trilling deep in the mountains, far away from any people, that is Altaria.
0:35It takes the most beautiful thing it has and it saves it for the emptiest places, where no one is around to really hear it.
0:38The most stunning voice in the sky, performing where it's safe.
0:41Where nobody's listening.
0:44But there is ONE exception.
0:46When Altaria bonds with someone, truly bonds with them, it does something it does for no one else.
0:49It wraps that person up inside its soft cloud wings, the same wings it uses to hide, and it hums for them.
0:52Up close - just for them.
0:55The song it keeps from the whole world, it finally gives to the one it trusts.
0:57Some of you have a voice like that.
1:00You have something beautiful in you.
1:03A talent, a tenderness, a way of seeing things.
1:05And you learned a long time ago to keep it hidden.
1:08To blend in.
1:11To only let it out when no one's really paying attention, because being truly heard, up close, by someone whose opinion matters, is the most terrifying thing there is.
1:14So you hum in the empty mountains and you tell yourself that's enough.
1:16But the hiding was never because your song wasn't beautiful… It was because letting someone close enough to really hear it means they could love it, or break it.
1:19And one day you find the person you trust enough to wrap up and sing to anyway.
1:22You were never quiet because you had nothing to say, but, rather you were waiting for someone safe enough to sing to!
1:25Have you ever hidden something beautiful about yourself, and only let one person truly hear it?
