Hawlucha.
Although its body is small, its proficient fighting skills enable it to keep up with big bruisers like Machamp and Hariyama.

0:00What if I told you the flashy wrestler Pokémon keeps losing fights it already won, for one heartbreaking reason?
0:03This is Hawlucha.
0:06A tiny luchador, small enough that it should never stand a chance, and yet its skill lets it go toe to toe with giants twice its size.
0:10It wears them down, dances around them, exhausts them completely.
0:13By every measure, it has the fight won.
0:16And then it does the thing that costs it everything.
0:19Right before the final blow, Hawlucha cannot just finish.
0:23It HAS to strike a pose.
0:26It is compelled, the Pokédex actually uses that word, to show off, to make the win a spectacle, to be seen winning.
0:29And the Pokédex is honest about what happens next.
0:32In that pause, while it's posing, the opponent it already beat gets back up and takes the fight.
0:35It does the hard part perfectly, and loses in the showing off.
0:39Some of you do this exact thing.
0:42You do the real work.
0:45You earn it.
0:48And then, RIGHT at the finish, you can't just let the win be quiet.
0:51You need it witnessed.
0:55You need the pose, the post, the look how far I came, the see me.
0:58And in that reaching to be seen, something slips, and the thing you already earned gets undercut by the needing.
1:01But here's what's underneath that pose.
1:04It was never vanity, but, a hunger to be witnessed that probably never got fed, back when you were quietly good at things and nobody noticed.
1:08So you learned that being good isn't enough.
1:11And that it has to be seen.
1:14You don't have to perform your worth to make it real.
1:17You already won before the pose.
1:20You were always enough before the applause.
1:24Have you ever undercut your own win by needing everyone to see it?

Speedster. 118 Speed gets the first move, every time.
Hawlucha's base stat total is 500. The shape of a stat spread tells you everything about a Pokémon's role. Tanks lean defense, sweepers lean speed and attack.
