Garchomp.

0:00What if I told you the scariest predator in Pokémon and the most exhausted one are the same Pokémon?

0:03This is Garchomp.

0:07It flies as fast as a fighter jet.

0:10It hunts above ground and under it, and it has these sensors on its head that pick up prey from way off, so it can find something even when that something is nowhere in sight.

0:13It's genuinely, terrifying.

0:17But the line that shows up in basically every game isn't about how strong it is.

0:20It's four words...

0:23It never lets go.

0:27Whatever it's chasing, it does not stop.

0:30Doesn't lose the trail, doesn't get tired of it, doesn't quit.

0:33And because of those sensors, it can't even lose track by accident.

0:37It always knows where the thing went.

0:40It could chase something forever and never once get the relief of forgetting where it is.

0:43Some of you hunt like that.

0:47There's a person, or a thing somebody said, or the way your life was supposed to go, and you just can't put it down.

0:50You think about it at red lights.

0:53You think about it at 2am.

0:57People tell you you're driven, you're loyal, you don't give up, and they mean it as a compliment.

1:00They don't see that you're tired, that catching things was never the hard part for you.

1:03Stopping is.

1:07Nobody ever really taught you that you're allowed to.

1:10That some things you're just allowed to stop chasing and let go of, and that doesn't make you a quitter.

1:13You can land.

1:17You don't have to stay in the air after something that's already gone.

1:20What's the thing you can't stop chasing, even though you know you should?
