Arbok.

0:00Arbok might be the most disrespected Pokémon in the entire franchise.

0:03And we need you to settle something.

0:07Did it actually get robbed, or does it deserve it?

0:10Look at the résumé.

0:14Arbok has been here since Generation 1.

0:17It was the original signature Pokémon of Team Rocket, one of the most recognizable cartoon villains of all time, with that hood and that face pattern that genuinely scared a generation of kids.

0:21Not to mention if you really think about it, Team Rocket's Arbok is arguably one of the most loyal Pokemon ever.

0:24On paper, it is an icon.

0:28And the games have done basically nothing with it in thirty years.

0:31No Mega Evolution.

0:35No regional form.

0:38No new evolution.

0:42It's still a middle-of-the-road snake with stats that stopped being scary three decades ago.

0:45Now here's the part that actually stings.

0:48Weezing, the Pokémon James carried right there next to Jessie's Arbok the whole time, got a full Galarian glow-up.

0:52Top hats, chimney smoke, a brand new look people put on t-shirts.

0:55They were partners.

0:59One of them got a redesign.

1:02The other one got left in Kanto.

1:06And now with Pokemon Winds and Waves coming out next year, this might finally be Arbok's shot, or it's about to get snubbed one more time.

1:09So be honest.

1:13Half of you think Arbok has been getting absolutely disrespected for thirty years now.

1:16The other half think it is a mid-tier snake at best with a cool hood, and nostalgia is doing all the work.

1:20Only one of you is right.

1:23Robbed, or deserved it?

1:27Pick one and defend it.
