0:00What if I told you the single weakest Dragon Pokémon that exists grows up into one of the strongest in the entire game...
0:03And its own Pokédex admits both.
0:06This is Goomy.
0:09And the games don't sugarcoat it at all!
0:12Goomy's Pokédex, across multiple games, flat out calls it the weakest Dragon-type Pokémon there is.
0:15Not a weak one, but, literally the weakest.
0:17It's a tiny blob of goo, barely a foot tall, so fragile that it's gotta spend all day hiding in damp, shaded places just so it doesn't dry out and die.
0:20If you didn't know any better, you'd look at Goomy and see the single most hopeless Dragon in the whole series.
0:23And then it grows up.
0:26Goomy becomes Goodra.
0:29And Goodra isn't JUST strong, it's a pseudo-legendary.
0:32That's the elite club.
0:35Same tier as Dragonite, as Tyranitar, as Garchomp.
0:38A six hundred stat total powerhouse.
0:41And Goodra's actually got the single highest defensive stat of any pseudo-legendary in the game.
0:44The weakest Dragon in the world grew up into one of the hardest ones alive to take down.
0:46And here are the details that really make it land.
0:49To pull off that final jump, Goomy can't just level up anywhere.
0:52It's gotta evolve out in the rain.
0:55The fragile little thing that spent its whole life hiding so it wouldn't dry out has to go stand in the middle of the storm to become the strongest version of itself.
0:58But the best part's what it refuses to lose.
1:01Goodra could've come out of that a monster.
1:04Instead its own Pokédex calls it amazingly friendly, a gentle giant that hugs its trainer and genuinely can't stand being alone.
1:07It went from the weakest dragon alive to one of the strongest, and it never once got cold about it.
1:10Some of you needed to see that one today.
1:13So be real.
1:15Is Goomy to Goodra the greatest glow-up in the whole franchise?
1:18Going from the literal weakest Dragon to a pseudo-legendary is a hard record to beat.
1:21Or is there one you'd put above it?
1:24Name it in the comments and who knows..
1:27we might just feature your take in a future video!
Special bulk leads the way at 75.
Goomy's base stat total is 300. The shape of a stat spread tells you everything about a Pokémon's role. Tanks lean defense, sweepers lean speed and attack.
