Spinarak.
It lies still in the same pose for days in its web, waiting for its unsuspecting prey to wander close.

0:00What if I told you there's a Pokémon that physically cannot hide how it feels.
0:04Its emotions show up on its body whether it wants them to or not.
0:07This is Spinarak, the little green spider from Johto that most people walked past twenty five years ago and never thought about again.
0:11Look at its back.
0:14There's a pattern there that looks like a face.
0:18Everybody notices that part, but, here's what almost nobody knows!
0:22That face isn't a fixed marking.
0:25It changes.
0:29When Spinarak's mood shifts, the expression on its back shifts with it.
0:32Happy, grumpy, scared, all of it plays out on its body in real time, for anybody who's looking.
0:36So think about what that means for the little guy.
0:40Every other Pokémon in the tall grass gets to bluff.
0:43Spinarak walks around with its heart printed on its back.
0:47It can be terrified and trying to act tough, and the face gives it away.
0:50It can pretend it's fine, but, the face says otherwise.
0:54There's no mask.
0:58There's never been a mask.
1:01What it feels is just out there, all day, every day.
1:05And some of you know exactly what that's like.
1:08You're the person whose whole day shows up on your face the second you walk in the room.
1:12Everybody always knows.
1:16You've never once gotten away with "no, everything's fine." So sort yourselves in the comments.
1:19Are you a Spinarak, where everybody can read you instantly?
1:23Or do you have a poker face?
1:26And if you're a Spinarak, tell the truth: has it ever once worked in your favor?
Attack carries the kit at 60.
Spinarak's base stat total is 250. The shape of a stat spread tells you everything about a Pokémon's role. Tanks lean defense, sweepers lean speed and attack.
