0:07It starts as Tandemaus, two little mice who do everything together.

0:11Then they evolve, and it can even slip by without the usual evolution fanfare, no lights, no ceremony.

0:14The battle ends, you look down at your team, and the two mice aren't two anymore.

0:18There are little ones now.

0:22Tiny ones, riding along, part of the group like they'd been there all along.

0:25And when people asked the obvious question, where did the babies come from, the games gave the best answer they've ever given.

0:32The little ones appeared from nowhere, and whether this family is related by blood is, officially, a mystery!

0:36And then, with all of that unknown, the games went ahead and categorized this species anyway.

0:50The big ones shield the little ones in battle.

0:54The whole group even learns a move where they tidy up the field together, a family doing chores as a combat strategy.

0:58And about one time in a hundred, a Maushold turns out to be a family of three instead of four, and the games never explain that either, because families come in all shapes and none of them owe anybody the math.
