Appletun.

0:00What if I told you Pokémon turned an apple pie into a dragon, and somehow made it feel like coming home?

0:04With everyone talking about the next iPhone, take a second to look at this apple.

0:08This is Appletun, The Apple Nectar Pokémon.

0:11And that little dragon under the pie crust is now fully evolved.

0:15Round, heavy, sweet all the way through, legs that barely reach the floor.

0:19It mostly eats sweet apples, its body makes nectar, and Lechonk wander over to lick its back until it sprays sticky nectar at them so that they will leave.

0:23Because even in the Pokémon world, somebody is trying to eat your dessert before it's ready.

0:26But let's take another look at this big cutie.

0:30Maybe that pie crust brings back a kitchen you haven't stood in for years.

0:34Someone checking the oven.

0:38You asking how much longer.

0:41Being handed a piece that falls apart because neither of you wanted to wait.

0:45Food can keep someone close like that.

0:49Years later, one familiar smell and you can almost hear them telling you to get a plate.

0:53Now imagine a Pokémon that brings that memory wandering into the room.

0:56You'd probably keep apples around for it.

1:00Learn which ones it likes.

1:04Take pictures of it doing absolutely nothing, because somehow that became something worth keeping.

1:08And someday, apple pie might remind you of two things.

1:11Someone who made you feel at home, and an adorable dragon you made a home for.

1:15So, the comments.

1:19Who do you think of when you smell apple pie, and what did they make you?

1:23Name them, and name the dish.

1:26Some of you are about to type a recipe you haven't tasted in twenty years, and somebody scrolling is going to go make it this weekend.
