Guzzlord.

0:00What if I told you there's a dead city at the far end of Ultra Space where everybody left, except one man, and he stayed to keep a monster company?!

0:03On paper, Guzzlord is one of the scariest things the games ever created.

0:07It's the size of a building and its official code name is Glutton.

0:10The Pokédex includes reports of it swallowing whole mountains, that it eats without stopping, and that nobody has ever found a single dropping.

0:14Looking at that mouth, you can understand why nobody wants to get close.

0:17Whatever goes in is gone.

0:21It's a mouth with a body attached, and the fandom filed it where you'd expect, the walking appetite, the one that eats everything and gives nothing back.

0:24Then Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon let you visit where it comes from.

0:28You arrive in the ruins of another Hau'oli City.

0:31There are traces of shops and streets, places where people used to spend perfectly ordinary afternoons.

0:35The people have left for other planets.

0:38The man you meet wears a protective suit because breathing too much of the air is dangerous.

0:42He stayed to keep an eye on Guzzlord.

0:45And he calls it Mr.

0:48Glutton.

0:52That's the name he uses...

0:55Like it's a neighbor.

0:59That's such a familiar little pet name for something that looks like that.

1:02You can almost picture him checking where it's wandered off to, the way someone checks on an animal outside their window.

1:06Then you catch it, and he asks you to take good care of it.

1:09After everything you've heard about what this creature can swallow, someone is concerned about what happens to it next.

1:13Imagine bringing it somewhere with people again.

1:16Finding room for that enormous body on a team.

1:20Getting used to the face that made you hesitate when you first arrived.

1:23Somewhere in those ruins, someone cared whether Guzzlord would be looked after.

1:27Now that someone could be YOU.
