Ho-Oh.

0:00So what if I told you there's a Pokémon that's been flying around the world for over a century, searching for someone with a pure enough heart to show itself to?

0:03This is Ho-Oh, the Rainbow Pokémon.

0:07One of the most powerful Pokémon in existence.

0:10And it's been alone for a very long time.

0:14Here's what happened.

0:17According to the official lore, about 150 years ago, Ho-Oh lived in Ecruteak City.

0:21Where it had a home, or rather more specifically, it had its OWN tower built just for it.

0:24And then war came...

0:28And a devastating fire broke out that ended up taking the lives of three Pokémon.

0:31Ho-Oh came down and did something truly extraordinary!

0:35It brought them BACK and gave them new life.

0:38In that moment, it saved those three Pokémon from death itself as it transformed them into Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

0:42And then Ho-Oh left, and it never came back!

0:45They rebuilt the tower.

0:48They're still waiting.

0:52But Ho-Oh just keeps flying.

0:55The Pokédex says it only reveals itself to trainers with pure hearts.

0:59It leaves a rainbow behind everywhere it goes.

1:02Anyone who sees it is promised eternal happiness.

1:06But almost nobody sees it.

1:09For 150 years, Ho-Oh has been circling the world, trailing rainbows, carrying the promise of happiness for anyone worthy.

1:13And for 150 years, it's been searching for hearts pure enough to appear to.

1:16Some Pokemon are powerful because they can destroy.

1:20Ho-Oh is powerful because after 150 years of searching, it still believes someone is worth finding.

1:23Have you ever kept believing in people even when they kept disappointing you?

1:27Tell me in the comments.
