0:00So what if I told you there's a Pokémon that helps every lost soul it finds move on, except the one living inside it?
0:05This is Pumpkaboo.
0:09It looks like a little jack-o'-lantern with light glowing through the holes, and when the sun goes down, it gets restless.
0:14That's when it goes looking for spirits that are wandering this world with nowhere to go.
0:19It takes them inside its own body and carries them to the place where they belong, so they can finally move on.
0:24Meanwhile, the spirit inside that pumpkin is trapped in this world.
0:28It gets everybody else across, and it stays.
0:33Every family has somebody like that, the one who gets to the hospital first and is still making the phone calls after everybody else has gone home.
0:38And Pumpkaboo come in different sizes.
0:43The small ones are said to come from places where only a few lost souls lingered.
0:47The really big ones come from places where a great number of them did.
0:52So the biggest pumpkin in the patch is the one that's been around the most goodbyes, which tracks, because the strongest person in your family is usually the one who's had to say the most of them.
0:57If you're that person, you know the restless part too.
1:02You're fine all day, then you drop everybody off and end up sitting in the driveway for like twenty minutes before you can make yourself go inside.
1:06Pumpkaboo can't even evolve by itself.
1:11It only grows when it's traded, handed over to somebody else to hold for a while.
1:16So if you're the one who gets everybody else home, let somebody carry you for once.
1:21Even the biggest pumpkin in the patch only grows up after it lets someone else hold it.
1:25Send this to the strong one in your family, and tell them it's your turn to carry them.
Built like a wall. 70 Defense.
Pumpkaboo's base stat total is 335. The shape of a stat spread tells you everything about a Pokémon's role. Tanks lean defense, sweepers lean speed and attack.
