Morelull.
Wanders through dark forests at night, scattering glowing spores that lull anyone who sees them into a deep sleep. Its tiny roots absorb nutrients from the soil, while its luminous mushroom caps create an enchanting display beneath the trees.

0:00What if we told you there’s a Pokémon that lets the whole forest eat the top of its head, and by morning it grows right back.
0:05This is Morelull, a glowing mushroom about eight inches tall.
0:10It sleeps the whole day away, and when the sun goes down, it wakes up and gets to work.
0:15At night, the caps on its head fill with glowing spores, and anyone who looks at that flickering light falls into a deep sleep.
0:20So when the whole forest goes quiet, Morelull is the little light that's still on.
0:25And the forest leans on it.
0:30Its Pokédex says the Pokémon living there eat the caps right off Morelull's head, because they're delicious.
0:35Which is a lot to ask of somebody eight inches tall.
0:40By the next morning, the caps have grown back.
0:45It has to eat too, so it drinks a little from the roots of a tree.
0:50But every night it moves on to a new one, so no single tree ever has to give too much.
0:55So all night long, it's the light that helps everybody else sleep.
1:00It lets the forest take pieces of it, and it barely takes anything back.
1:05Then the sun comes up, it's whole again, and it goes to sleep while everybody else starts their day.
1:10Maybe you grew up with somebody who worked nights, and most of the time you only saw them asleep in the middle of the day.
1:15Maybe it took you years to realize they were the reason everyone else got to sleep.
1:20It gives the forest a piece of itself every night, and nobody's awake to see it grow back.
1:25Whoever worked nights in your house, make sure they see this one.
Sp. Defense 75, Speed 15. Pick your poison.
Morelull's base stat total is 285. The shape of a stat spread tells you everything about a Pokémon's role. Tanks lean defense, sweepers lean speed and attack.
